Optional Extras: Evocative of the bespoke Porsche 911 Outlaw cars of cult names Magnus Walker and the R Gruppe, Motorvault offer here this bespoke 911, brought to life as the private project of an official Porsche Technician with 1400 hours of attention to detail and labour. This Outlaw takes shape on an original (not backdated), 1968 911 SWB. Completely stripped to the bare metal, the shell has been media blasted, detailed then coated for rust prevention. From there, the build would feature many new parts starting with the engine, a 3.0 litre unit taken from the later SC model, with new cams, cylinders, pistons and valves, and featuring Weber carburetors, these have now been changed by Prill Porsche Classics to the PMO high performance triple throat carburetors. A type 915 gearbox, fully rebuilt with new bearings and synchro’s. Furthermore, the car’s torsion bars and suspension are new and upgraded specification. Running lowered on period style wheels, wearing the period correct and appealing Porsche color stone grey, this 911 presents a stance befitting of its outlaw style. The interior features period racing seats with new retro styled seatbelts and the perfect steering wheel in the Momo Prototipo. This Outlaw has covered just 2,000 miles since its build and present in a condition commensurate with this. This is a true one off and would cost in excess of £200,000 to recreate today.
