With no major restoration to date, but for a sympathetic repaint circa 1990, this car retains features rare to all save the earliest of the 911s, such the earlier and more flexible wooden steering wheel, an elegant flange at the base of the fuel filler port. Original Porsche factory orange capped washers are still present in the car. The car is held in high regard by marque specialist Andy Prill, by whom an inspection and service will be carried out prior to delivery. The Provenance of this car includes ownership by famed Porsche racer, advertising master and Luftgekuhlt Co-founder Jeff Zwart followed by Hodinkee founder and editor Ben Clymer. Both preceded by the original owner George Giusti, a New York City advertising executive and published graphic designer, for whom a brass owner’s plaque features on the car’s wooden dash panel.
