| NOTES OF INTEREST: | A UK matching numbers 1970 Aston Martin DB6 Mark 2 Vantage 5 speed manual. The final series for the DB6 being the Mk 11, the specification shared many parts with the DBS such as the wider wheels and tyres, hubs and seats, the wheel arches have slight flares to accommodate these. The bodywork was distinctive with a slightly higher roofline than the DB4 and DB5, and featured an aerodynamically efficient abbreviated 'Kamm' tail. Full mechanical works completed by Pugsley & Lewis Ltd to include an upgrade and complete engine rebuild to 4.2 Vantage Specification for unleaded fuel., Bare metal repaint in the original manufacturers colour and specification. Re-trim in the correct and original manufacturers interior colour and specification of Connolly VM3282 - Dark Blue Re-trim of all carpeting in the original manufacturers Dark Blue Wilton Full comprehensive and mechanical overhaul including new clutch, new avon radial tyres and chromium wire wheels. Works carried out in 2015 since which time the car has been professionally stored. |
